Maltese student wins ceramics competition

Maltese student Stefan De Battista, 21, has been declared winner of a ceramics competition launched as part of the Medpot project promoted by the Comune of Sciacca in Sicily.

Stefan is an MCAST student and was chosen by a Maltese-Italian commission presided by the Sciacca Comune’s official for trades and commerce, Giuseppe Caruana and including among its members master ceramist Gaspare Cascio and maestro Cosimo Barna.
